Questions Parents Ask

What is Curious & Creative?

Curious & Creative is a design- and architecture-inspired studio for children aged 3–10, where kids learn through play, exploration, and hands-on making. We focus on nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confident thinking.

What age groups do you offer?

Classes are designed for:

  • 3–4 years

  • 5–7 years

  • 8–10 years

Each group (age-based, can change) has age-appropriate activities and pacing to ensure children feel engaged and supported

Does my child need prior experience?

Not at all.
Curious & Creative is designed for beginners and explorers. Children are encouraged to think, imagine, and express ideas freely—there is no “right” or “wrong” way to create here.

What happens in a typical class?

Each session includes:

  • A playful warm-up activity or game

  • Introduction to a core-concept

  • A hands-on building or making activity

  • Time to share ideas, reflect and celebrate creations

How big are the classes?

Class sizes are intentionally small so each child feels seen, supported, and encouraged.

Who teaches the classes?

Classes are led by Manika, an architect and educator with experience teaching design and architecture to children internationally.

Do parents stay during class?

For children under 5, parents may stay or be nearby initially. Children 5 and older attend independently.

What if my child is shy?

That’s completely okay. Children are guided and encouraged at their own pace—no pressure, no forcing.

How long is each class?

Sessions are 45–60 minutes, depending on the age group.

I have kids of different age groups. Can I enroll the older one with the younger age group?

Concepts taught in each class are flexible based on each kid’s learning ability. There can be cross-over of ages but it’s good to check before you sign up your children of different ages for the same group unless it is mentioned in the description. Please reach out before signing up.
