Manika's classes are fun, hands-on, and engaging. She strikes a great balance between encouraging fanciful fun ideas, but at the same time, explaining in an age appropriate and interesting way how buildings are designed and constructed. The classes are a good blend of learning, projects, and sharing out loud. My five year old especially enjoys the building projects. We are looking forward to the next session.

I was so delighted to attend two of Manika’s sessions with my almost 4-year-old daughter. The classes bring big concepts down to a perfect level for kids to understand - like learning about shapes and then seeing how those shapes make up a building or a playground.

Manika has a gentle and approachable teaching style that drew my daughter in immediately, and made her feel right at home.

The classes serve as more than a single creative opportunity, because we get to talk about what we learned over and over which fuels creative conversation and opens our eyes to notice things in our environment.
